Though this picture could be seen as very ordinary site, I find it very interesting the way the light is reflected onto the wood surface. There is texture that is created by the position of the tree and where the sun was shining through the tree. I found the reflection to be almost tranquil against such a rough surface. The light creates a nice golden hue on the wooden fence, leaving a feeling of serenity. I would love to see this refection from the tree as a gobo on a large stage, because I feel that it would add a very nice texture, especially to a scene or dance piece that is moving a lot.
