So obviously this isn't the best quality picture ever, but I felt like the subject matter was interesting. It seems like every year the holiday season starts earlier and earlier. It is crazy to me that in the beginning of November shopping centers are already geared up and already decorated for the holidays. The decorations they use also seem to be getting more extravagant with every passing year. I couldn't help but stop and take a picture of one of the decorations the Albertsons' shopping center on California and Campus was using. Giant LED bows seem really ridiculous to me considering it's a tiny shopping center with literally no retail stores and therefore no real reason to need to draw people in specifically for the holidays. Don't get me wrong, I love the holiday season, I just don't understand the need to make it into a spectacle.
Even Albertsons! haha although I kind of love this red led bow. Very festive! This is relatively new, as I definitely don't remember that shopping center getting too festive in years past. haha Nice!
