Week 7/8 silken light

I was walking by campus and I saw the varying light falling upon this bush and liked the transition from light to dark. The position of the sun in relation to the photo created this line of light which I was intrigued by. I feel like if I wanted to recreate this effect I would need to use a silk which is something we haven't dealt with before and that could be a lot of fun to experiment with. This photo evokes the idea of light from the sun piercing into our lives and bringing joy with it which I think isn’t a very powerful. With our ever changing world I find so many people lacking joy and I like the idea of being able to bring joy to others and brighten up their lives.
