Week 7/8: Mason Park

I took this in Mason Park, just as the sun was setting. I love the contrast between the trees and the sky. It reminded me of a show I saw last year (I forget which). The set had cutouts of a landscape that were set against a colorful cyc, and it produced an effect just like this one. I also love the colors of the sky in this photo. My camera couldn't quite capture them properly- in reality, there was much more of a gradual fade between colors instead of a stripe of bright light close to the horizon.
