Week 7/8

Last week, I came to campus on Veterans' Day for a rehearsal.  The campus was pretty empty since it was a holiday, but it meant I was better able to enjoy the serene beauty that I rarely take the time to notice.  As I walked through Aldrich Park, I noticed how the sun was shining so beautifully through the trees.  It was a perfectly clear, sunny day and the trees created a filter to the sunlight.  The blueish-warm light was given a light green tint as it reflected off of the leaves.  The shadows spread across my path and created patterns that mingled and blended together.  It is so beautiful to be able to go to school in an arboretum.  The visual displays are calming and enchanting.
