Week 3/4 Before Sunset

As I was walking from rehearsal, I looked ahead to see the setting sun cast a warm glow on the student center. But when I turned around, I was really astounded by the brilliance of the sky. The clouds hadn't begun developing any saturate colors, but the sunlight had diffused to create a bright white horizon that lit everything beautifully. I liked seeing the trees against this sky because the heavy lighting accentuated each needle and made the central tree really stand out as the main object of focus within the photograph.  I also liked that the sky and the earth seem like they are in completely different universes, with the heavy contrast in lighting.

  1. Very pretty blanket of clouds reflecting the setting sun! Great contrast between the silhouetted trees and the intense source of sunlight on the horizon! Great!
