I absolutely love this lighting effect that I saw as I walked out of my apartment one morning. I am really interested in these kind of awesome effects with light. It was a kind of gloomy day with a little bit of sunlight and the lighting from behind on this designed wall produced cool projections of shapes on to the floor. When I go to see shows, I am often intrigued by gobo-looking effects such as this; effects like this projected on to people and to things on stage is something I find really interesting to look at. I think it adds an exciting element and I think this kind of lighting effect on any kind of back drop is really striking. The colors in this picture are a little more neutral and I like how it looks this way, but I can also imagine it on the other end of the spectrum with more contrasting and saturated colors which would be amazing as well.
Great texture and pattern caused by light and scenery working together! I find texture to add a great layer of dimensionality and depth to a stage...much more dynamic! Nice!
