Today as I walked around the boardwalk, I noticed this view. I immediately thought how unimpressive this sky is in comparison to glorious sunsets or sublime sunrises. And then I thought how ordinary isn't something to be overlooked. The colors of this sky are still beautiful, even if we see this same picture everyday. The fact that I can even see due to the light provided from the sun is pretty amazing. I think this picture of just normal, natural light and a pretty ordinary color scheme is a metaphor for how we shouldn't disregard the things we are so desensitized to. We all need to stop sometimes from our busy lives and recognize that everything is a miracle. Even all the things we take for granted.
Definitely something to be said for taking a breather once in awhile! Nice picture of the silhouetted palm trees against a nicely layered sky! I like the gradation in color and quality of atmosphere too!
