As I walked The Santa Monica Pier I was captured by the way the sun sweeped over the building and sculpted the people. Not only was there a strong contrast between the building and people, but looking at the way the sky starts in this rich blue and fades into an almost white really draws me in. I am a strong believer that contrast creates interest, and the depth in this moment keeps my eyes moving. These are the kind of moments I wish I could bottle up and release in a theatre when the director asks for me.
