Last weekend, I had the pleasure of seeing Florence & the Machine at the Hollywood Bowl. I snagged some pretty amazing seats and was super close to both her and the stage; it was remarkable. This lighting was during one of her ballads. Out of all the lights she used, this specific cue was especially vivid and lit up not only the stage but the people around her. It expressed the emotion of the song (mellow, sad, calm) as well as added such an amazing visual for those of us sitting in the audience. It's pretty amazing how a performance like this one can take you out of reality for a few moments and into this world of complete bliss. That's what not only her whole show did for me, but this specific song and moment. I HIGHLY recommend next time she's performing you go see her. It was a night I'll never forget.
such vivid colors! what a pure blue and great use of lighting to draw our focus to the performers and allow the rest of the stage to be swept up in emotion. Nice!
