There is a winery down the street from where I live and it is one of the my favorite places to visit whenever I get a chance. I went a few weeks ago and stumbled upon this random wine glass on a bench while I was walking around. I thought it was interesting and rather pretty. The environment of this winery is extremely peaceful and has a beautiful antiquey feel to it. To me this glass was an amazing subject for a photo because it both fit in and stood out in its surroundings. I also really enjoy that although the glass is the focal point of this photo it is slightly out of focus in comparison to the bench.
I think it's really cool how the bend of the wine glass "bends" the light on the rock behind it as you look through the glass.
ReplyDeleteI agree! It's also really pretty to see the soft dappled sunlight on the natural wood bench seat, as well as the reflection of the rounded glass! I'd sit there and drink a glass of wine any day! beautiful!
