I am so fortunate to be living just steps from the sand at Newport Beach.
So I've decided to take advantage of it!
Each one of my blogs will be from the as close to the exact location as I can possible get.
BUT,
at different times of the day.
To show how lighting can change the mood throughout the day.
Bright and Early
the Sun has been out for a couple hours and it simply lights up the entire beach.
The sand looks inviting as well as the ocean.
I am instantly thrown to my childhood of arriving on the beach and bounding towards the water.
It is tranquil.
It is happiness.
The shadows on the left corner make it seem that many have already passed through.
Yet,
No families or surfers can be spotted.
Staring off into the ocean one definitely feels very small.
nice image! I love the composition of the different pieces: the sand, the water, and the sky...there's a really great expansiveness with this full sunlight and cloudless quality of light. Despite the clouds in the distance, the sun where you are standing is uninhibited. It would be neat to see a time-lapse done and see if you could tell where the shadows in the sandy footprints shifted. Nice!
