After class from Linguistics, during first week of Fall quarter, I was walking back to the arts campus cutting through Aldrich Park. In front of me, I saw a tree. Obviously, the sunlight gave a wide spotlight to this tree, casting a small shadow next to it. Yet, somehow, the shadow made me feel like this tree is very lonely even though there is bright light all around.
awww it does look like a little lone tree! but the shadow is so crisp, clear and directional, which allows you to tell exactly where the "source" of sunlight is coming from. The white natural sunlight really pops the green of the surroundings too! Nice!
