I really like this picture that i took on the way to rehearsal last week, around sunset. This is a picture of the campus administration building, and I really felt that the backlighting of the building portrays power and business. I also love the layering of the natural coloring in the sky; the blues and ambers contrast nicely with each other. The reflection of the sunlight off the clouds softens the background, making Aldrich Hall stick out as a point of focus in the layout. I also appreciate the dynamic shapes of the physical objects on the horizon line (the trees/building/etc) as they create depth and make the image more interesting overall.
Nice! This image does say power and business! The strong source of backlight silhouetting the stately building is lovely, and all the sharp lines in this photo really give the photo a nice composition!
